Stornoway Communications Limited Partnership is wholly owned by Stornoway Investors Group, the sole shareholder of Stornoway Productions Inc.

Stornoway Communications was founded in 2000, specifically to apply to the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission for digital specialty licenses and interactive web casting. To meet these newly expanded objectives, Stornoway has capitalized on its business strength, creative approach to programming, and its commitment to delivering a diversity of voices and points of view.

Stornoway Communications is also the Owner and Operator of Canadian specialty channels, the ichannel, bpm:tv and The Pet Network. Both ichannel and bpm:tv were launched nationally in 2001 and The Pet Network was recently added to the lineup in late 2004.
