Chromeo
Chromeo is Pee Thug and Dave 1, best friends since their Montreal adolescence, musicians, and hip-hop encyclopedias. Pee brings analog synth bass lines and drum machine wizardry a la Cameo and Prince, while Dave contributes melodic tales of urban romance. Their first single “She’s in Control” show how they blend catchy song structures, memorable hooks, and twirling guitar solos conjure up images of a subconscious meeting of Daft Punk and N.E.R.D. |
